“Throwing metal” with a group of world famous rockers,Michigan ’s greatest wedding DJs and… Haitian orphans?  Yep, that’s the perfect synergy that Mike Staff weaves throughout his life. “Let’s face it; life has much more meaning when it’s shared with other people.”

Born and raised in Royal Oak , Mike started his DJ career in 1986 as a small market radio DJ. A few moves around the Midwest and most notably, a 14-year stint at 101 WRIF— Detroit ’s premier rock station, Mike decided to launch Mike Staff Productions in 1996 to save weddings from cheesy, over-the-top, embarrass your guests type of DJs.  Mike is still revolutionizing the wedding industry to this day with services focused on the bride and groom’s need and always surpassing expectations in a classy and efficient way.

Since Mike's been around to see his company’s ups and, well, more ups, he has some unique insight into how things work: "Around here, every interaction is important.  There is always something new to learn, an opportunity to serve people better and some better way of getting results."
