There are so many wedding venues for couples to choose from, what makes your venue stand out amongst the rest?
“Your event is just that – yours! We know it isn’t easy to plan any event, much less a lovely wedding or bridal or wedding shower. That’s why we go to extra lengths to make sure you have everything you need to fulfill your vision. We pride ourselves in accommodating our guests. Do not be shy to make requests, especially creative and elaborate types. We will do our best to make your vision a reality.
Our Sales Director is happy to work within any couples budget to fit the needs of the reception perfectly. All newly engaged couples are encouraged to tour our venue and speak with the Sales Director to receive package quotes for the wedding packages.
Please explain your package options for couples. What items, if any, are included in your wedding packages to help making planning less stressful to the couple?
“Boulder Pointe has a create your own wedding package with our A la Carte menu, as well as two all inclusive packages that can be customized to fit your taste and budget! The inclusive packages include a six hour Reception, five hour open bar, choice of appetizers, signature Duet Plate (petite filet and choice of chicken, starch and vegetable), late night snack, cake cutting/serving, floor length linen (white or ivory) and choice of colored napkins.
We work with great vendors, such as Mike Staff Productions, so you can relax and enjoy your wedding day! From cakes and desserts, hotels and shuttle, to chair covers and linen, we have a vendor for you!”
What is your venue ‘known’ for – in other words – what makes getting married at you venue special for the couple and their guests?
“Newly renovated in 2012 our venue is located in North Oakland County just outside of Downtown Oxford, MI. Boulder Pointe is known for its Grand Ballroom with spacious vaulted ceilings and natural lighting, featuring two mahogany and marble bars and a white marble dance floor. Our beautiful walk-out veranda is a spectacular place to hold a sunset cocktail hour or for guests to get away for some fresh air! Our Reception hall seats up to 365 guests and overlooks our 27 hole Golf Course. We encourage every couple to go on the course and take advantage of the natural and man-made scenery.
Our service staff takes great pride in serving your guests and go to great lengths to ensure all guests have a fantastic time at your wedding. From ceremony directions to cleanup at the end of the event, our staff is able to accommodate any request during your time at Boulder Pointe.”

“Our newly appointed Executive Chef studied under our previous Executive Chef of 18 years and has over 6 years Sous Chef/Kitchen Management experience. He takes great pride in the preparation and presentation of his menu items and is more than happy to create new menu’s for couples. His Sous Chef has been with him for 2 years and oversees a staff of 8.
Our most popular entree selection is our Duet plate. Hand seared Petite Filet with BP zip sauce (med.) Garlic Rosemary Chicken with a special Boursin cheese and rosemary sauce, paired with herb roasted potatoes and roasted asparagus- Yum!
Many of our Bar staff have been in the service industry for 6+ years and are happy to create any custom beverage! We offer a wide variety of Martinis, Bourbon’s, Whiskeys, Scotch and more! We have a extensive wine list to choose from if you are looking to perfectly pair with your dinner option.”
