Mike Staff Productions is honored to work with The Bonnell Foundation for their Night of Hope event. DJ Randy will be spinning tunes at their Night of Hope event on September 28th at 6pm, as a part of our Heart to Serve initiative.

The Bonnell Foundation

There are 30,000 people in the U.S that have CF, but 10 million carriers.  There are one thousand people in Michigan who have CF.  Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease that causes chronic and fatal lung infections and interferes with digestion. There is no cure. The average life expectancy for people born today with the disease is 47 years old. Every organ is impacted by the disease. Lung transplants are not a cure, just a temporary fix.  The lucky ones make it through the transplant but are then on transplant meds and CF meds.

The Bonnell Foundation gives emotional and financial support to parents who have a loved one with cystic fibrosis. The purpose of The Bonnell Foundation is to provide tools to navigate the difficulties of living with cystic fibrosis. With their website, roadmap to CF baskets, academic scholarships, and medical grants, they hope to equip families with a roadmap to guide their way.

Night of Hope

The Bonnell Foundation’s Night of Hope event is an evening of friends, fun, strolling dinner, and music (by the Mike Staff DJ)!

There will be special guests who have been impacted by CF, including Melissa Yeager, Dylan Mortimer, and Kevf. Melissa Yeager’s daughter Claire Wineland inspired the movie Five Feet Apart and the CF community from California to Michigan before losing her battle with cystic fibrosis. Artist Dylan Mortimer has a beautiful story to tell after recently getting his second double lung transplant. You’ll be inspired by both speakers. For your entertainment Kevf will jam out a few tunes. He is an up and coming star who happens to have cystic fibrosis.

A silent auction will be followed by a live auction with the fabulous Charlie Langton of both Fox 2 News and WWJ as the auctioneer.

The event is Saturday, September 28th at 6pm at Laurel Manor Banquet & Conference Center. Tickets can be purchased here.

Can’t Make The Event?

If you cannot make the Night of Hope event, you can still make a difference. Your generous contribution will help The Bonnell Foundation fund Cystic Fibrosis research efforts, sponsor lung transplants and support families living with Cystic Fibrosis.
