“The whole experience working with Mike Staff was great! Communication was A+ and you always answered my questions quickly but accurately and in a friendly manner. The process was so organized from the selection of vendors, to the pre-wedding calls to receiving the photos post-wedding. Since we were planning from out of state, I wanted to make the process easy, and booking three services with Mike Staff was easy, a great value, but also a great result. I would hire all our Mike Staff vendors again for sure.”

Our Love Story
We met on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel when we both lived in San Francisco, and from that day forward I was “Amy Bagel” in Andrew’s phone. Our first date was at the club Andrew is a member of, where he convinced me to try a booze-heavy Vesper instead of my usual red wine. After a few drinks and lots of laughs, we moved onto late-night oysters and talked for hours. On our third date, Andrew made me a multi-course dinner complete with a Funfetti cake to win me over, and it totally did. I was smitten and impressed. After a month of traveling separately, we reunited on New Year’s Eve 2018, when Andrew changed his flight from Michigan to come back early to celebrate with me. He also brought me back corned beef. I knew he was a special one, and we were exclusive from then on. A few months later he proposed we move to Puerto Rico for a job opportunity, and a year after that he proposed we get married. Andrew proposed overlooking the beach at sunset in our herb garden that he planted for me. Both were easy questions to say “yes” to. I’m still “Amy Bagel” in Andrew’s phone, and now I’m his everything bagel forever.
Our Wedding Vision
We are fun-loving, happy people, so we wanted to have a vibrant, fun event that still felt like a classy wedding. I’m calling the look rainbow gold glitter formal. We wanted guests to enjoy the day as much we did, and I think we achieved that with great music, a good flow, and lots of tasty food and drinks along with personal touches.
Our Wedding Photography
I love having photos to capture memories, but I also didn’t want to spend the whole day posing for photos either. Holly and Eric we so nice and easy to hang out with, and brought good ideas. During the ceremony and reception, I mostly forgot they were there, in a good way. They seamlessly captured the day.
Our Wedding Videography
I love photographs, but a video can capture the expressions and sounds in a whole new way. We get to relive our wedding over and over again and it’s something I know we’ll always treasure.
Our Wedding DJ
DJ Ron was amazing! We received many compliments on the music selection which was important because music can really make or break a wedding. We wanted the vibe to be 90’s and early 00’s with some oldies mixed in (think your prom but better) and Ron delivered. I especially enjoyed dancing to “Africa” by Toto with all my friends, battling it out to “The Boy is Mine” by Brandy and Monica and the soul train. He also helped us pick out the perfect version of the Hora and suggested playing it twice in a row which was perfect. And our last song “The Final Countdown” had Andrew and I dancing as hard as if it was the first song. Ron did a great job of keeping people on the dancefloor which is what we wanted.
Our Wedding Memories
The whole day was magical and relaxed really! The ceremony was my favorite part. I loved hearing Andrew’s vows and sharing mine with him. I think you can feel the love and joy of the ceremony in our photos. We laughed and cried (well, I did) and it was the perfect mix of heartfelt and funny.
